Did you know that Father's Day wasn't established as an official national holiday until 1972, a full 58 years after Mother's Day hit the books? Let's not make the same mistake this June 15th as all of America did for half a century—dads everywhere deserve love and appreciation, too!
My own dad is a lively, self-described nut, and he served as the inspiration for this week's project. To give you some insight into his personality: while my sister and I were growing up, he would routinely wake us up for school by sneaking into our bedrooms and blasting his trumpet over our sleeping heads. (Alternatively, he'd opt to play the opening of "The Circle of Life" on the speakers... very, very loudly.) He also loves coffee, and because he's eco-conscious and doesn't like accumulating material objects, coffee is often my go-to gift for him on special occasions.
These are perfect for the caffeine-loving dad or husband in your life this Father's Day... And they work for birthdays, too! Simply tweak the size of the image before printing to fit your particular container of coffee. You could even add a use the image to make a card accompanying his morning cup of joe.
